Abstract submission portal now open for DBI2026 – Submit your work today!

We are excited to announce that the official abstract submission portal for DBI2026 – the Decarbonising the Building Industry International Conference – is now open as of 31 March 2026. 

Following the success of DBI2024, this premier event will be held on 19–20 November 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in partnership with the 12th International Conference on Innovative Production and Construction (IPC2026).  

DBI2026 will focus on the most impactful areas for reducing carbon emissions in the built environment through the following key themes: 

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Construction 
  • Application of Innovative Technologies in Construction 
  • Decarbonised and Re-usable Building Materials 
  • Operational Emissions Reduction 
  • Prefabricated and Modular Building 
  • Sustainable Construction Policies and Circularity Practices 
  • Decarbonising Data Centre Infrastructure 

 

We welcome high-quality abstracts (maximum 300 words) that present new research findings, innovative approaches, or real-world case studies aligned with these themes.
