We are excited to officially announce the Decarbonising Building Industry International Conference (DBI2026), set to take place on 19 – 20 November 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Building on the success of DBI2024, this major event will be co-branded with the 12th International Conference on Innovative Production and Construction (IPC2026). The partnership will bring together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers and innovators from around the world to tackle the critical challenge of reducing carbon emissions across the building sector.
DBI2026 will spotlight the areas with the greatest potential to drive meaningful change in construction. Expect presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities focused on these key themes:
- Artificial intelligence (AI) in construction
- Application of innovative technologies in construction
- Decarbonised and re-usable building materials
- Operational emissions reduction
- Prefabricated and modular building
- Construction policies and circularity practices
- Decarbonising data centre infrastructure
This two-day international gathering offers an outstanding platform to share new research, practical case studies and forward-thinking solutions that can help shape a lower-carbon future for the building industry.
