A high-level international workshop was held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 31st March to 2nd April 2025, co-hosted by the Institute for Building Science and Technology (IBST) and the Ministry of Construction. Themed “Green Social Housing Models – Challenges and Opportunities,” this event attracted over 200 participants. It addressed strategies for integrating low-carbon modular construction systems into Vietnam’s national housing agenda, material optimisation, and alignment with local regulatory frameworks. A roadmap was established for a full-scale demonstration project targeting net-zero housing solutions tailored to Vietnam’s climate and socioeconomic conditions.
